Best Products for Dry Skin + Hair

Good morning lovelies, hope your day is going well. Today I wanted to talk about some of my favourite products for dry skin and hair. Generally my skin is combination oily but lately (with the extreme Ottawa temps) my skin has been really dry.

Lip Scrub – you can even just mix sugar and honey and make our own but this lush one is really conviennent and smells amazing.

Lip – My go to whenever my lips are super dry and cracked is Blistex (medicated). It really helps to heal cold sores as well. A good daily alternative is the First Aid Beauty lip therapy or even vaseline.

Face Lotion – Even though my skin is dry it is still very acne prone so I found that a daily moisturizer for dry skin really helped without making my face to oily.

Hair Mask – My hair is pretty dry towards the ends, and I have really been liking Lush’s H’suan Wen Hua hair mask, i just put it on my ends and let it sit then shower and wash it out. It smells amazing and it’s very moisturizing without making my hair greasy.

Hair Primer – If you have never tried a primer before then you are really missing out. They are great for any hair type and also perfect if you use her on your hair. I really like the Pravanx Nevo Intense Therapy (found at local beauty supply stores), the Beyond the Zone Smoothe Criminal hair primer and the Dry Bar Prep Rally detangler.

Body Conditioner – aka in-shower body lotion, have gained recent popularity and for good reason, they save so much time and actually work really well. I like the Nivea in-shower body lotion, and Lush’s Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner.

Body lotion – This is just a given, really any body lotion works but I really like Lush Body lotions, currently I’ve really been into Sleepy.

Thanks for reading, have a good day.
