Good morning lovelies. I know I just posted yesterday but I was just in the mood to write a little more. Yesterday I was woken up at 5:10am with an ear/head ache and could not fall back asleep (I didn’t have to be up till 7:35) so I just laid in bed thinking about every negative thing in my life, when I finally got up and got ready for class. While I was waiting for the elevator I noticed how bright and sunny it was outside. While still being a little salty about the morning’s unfortunate events, I was determined to not let it ruin the rest of my day.
Bio was fine, nothing too great happened but then in calc everyone got a little surprise. Near the end of the lecture a group of 4 people came in with a huge basket of flowers, they worked for the Mayor of Ottawa, and said they were spreading kindness. There could not have been a better time for it, it instantly brightened my day and change my whole mentality for the day. I then had an impromptu lunch with Natacha and worked a little on some school work.
After geo I ran back to Rez and grabbed my skates because we had tickets to skate on parliament hill. So far this winter I have skated multiple time on the Rideau Canal, including the entire length of it and back, I have also skated on a rink across from Confederation Park, but skating on parliament hill was new. At first it was super windy but other than that it was absolutely beautiful outside. The sun was shining, not a cloud in the sky, and I have never seen ice outside so shiny and smooth before. After that I had to study for midterms cause apparently you can’t escape those.
” Moral of the story, don’t let the bad things in your life let you think you have a bad life. It only takes one moment to change everything, find that moment. “
Hope you have a great rest of your day,
