May 2/4: Fireworks and Long Exposure

Hey guys, last post about 2/4. Actually kind of sad because I really liked reliving everything while going through the photos and now it’s coming to a close again.

Okay in all honesty I love my Canon t6i for everything so far but was really disappointed to learn that it does not have a firework setting, I even think my little Canon Powershot has a setting for fireworks. So I tried a few different manual settings and couldn’t get a decent shot. However the video quality was really good (I switched to video only), and I ended up using screen shots from the videos which turned out okay.

Before the fireworks while we were waiting I played around a little with long exposure and manual shutter speed and for doing it completely free hand without a tripod I think it actually turned out pretty nice.

Thank you for reading and hope you enjoyed the week of photos, and if you are just reading this one you should go back and check out the rest of the photos from 2/4 with my friends 🙂
