Some Cute Photos & Mental Health Reminder

Hello everyone, today I wanted to share some photos I took last week, along with a little reminder to be kind to yourself and prioritize yourself. We are starting to get into a busy time of year, finals for school, important work projects, holidays etc. and I just want to remind you that it’s so important to take time for yourself! Self care looks different for everyone, wether it’s yoga, watching a movie or just sleeping, so do what you enjoy doing. Take time off social media and your phone, try reading a book or meditating for a couple minutes or just being present while eating a meal. I know I stress this a lot, but you are NOT more productive if you don’t take a break. Your brian needs time to rest and reccouperate. I heard someone say this quote “If you don’t take time to rest, your body will take time for you” which is ultimately worse.

As for photos, I usually prefer to be behind the camera because I get very picky about images of me. Something is not quite right and I never end up posting the photos. I’m working on getting better at not caring about the little things, so here I am posting a couple photos of me! (Ps. if you recognize one of the photos from my post last week, you’re a real one!)

*The photo that looks like a sunset is actually light pollution from greenhouses. While it looks pretty in pictures it’s actually quite harmful to wildlife, maybe I will do a post all about it sometime.

Thank you so much for reading, come back Sunday for a bullet journal post and video! (Or subscribe/follow my blog to be notified of my next post)
