Hi everyone and welcome to another PWM! I can’t believe this is my 7th month doing a video PWM and 9th blog post. I honestly didn’t think I would be able to keep up with it. This month is a self care/self love theme and I incorporated 2 major super unique elements.
I used my mom’s cricut to cut out the grey circle outline, and pasted it on this light marble paper. I used my micron in 08 to fill it in and my tombow fudenoske for the title. All of the paper I use in these spreads are from Micheals. What makes this spread (and the challenge spread) unique, is that I made a hanging heart. I’ve seen this tehnique done in cards, but never in a bullet journal.
This is my ’28 things I love about myself challenge”. Each day I will write something I love about myself, wether it’s physical or spiritual/emotional etc. I feel there is a big emphasis put on loving others but I think it’s really important to first and foremost, love yourself. I kept it pretty minimal so I can be creative with this spread, but you can also make a little chart or numbered list.
This is my 2nd big unique feature. I’ve never done dutch doors before, but I didn’t want to do just any, so I made them into a heart (haha I know cheesy). I haven’t seen this either in a bullet journal. Cutting the half heart gave me such nostalgia to when I was a kid cutting out hearts like that for Valentine’s Day cards. I also included 3 habit trackers and spot to make a list of fun things to do (also synonymous with self care things). I used my tombow in 772.
Goal Planner & Reflection
I recently wrote a blog post about using habits to achieve a goal rather than setting ‘New Year’s Resolutions’ and I thought it was fitting to add a page in February. Wether you started your new goals and want to add to them or are ready to start something new, it’s always the perfect time to start (it doesn’t just have to be a new year!). On the left page I added a ‘big goal’ box and 3 ‘stepping stone’ goals. On the right page I added a spot to add journal prompts. I am not one of those people that daily journals though I am trying to get better at self reflection/meditation, so I thought this would be a good way to help with that.
Of course I can’t forget about a budget tracker. I kept it simple, only did 3 categories this month, like January, I am hoping to not spend a lot of money this month. Another option, is have one section but 4 columns, date, item/store, amount and category.
