Hi everyone and welcome to another plan with me, I know I say this every month but I can’t believe it’s already time for another plan with me. I haven’t been really active in the past few weeks because I was really busy with school, but this is my last week ever of my undergrad 😦 on the bright side, I will have more time for creating content! Don’t forget to follow me on instagram @torischere and subscribe on YouTube for more content when I am not posting here. This month is a really simple design but I think it looks really cute. I only used 2 microns (02 & 08) and tombow dual brush pen in 620 to create these spreads.
This is the first time I’ve ever done a monthly calendar like this. My biggest concern and the reason I’ve avoided it for so long was because you can’t tell what day of the week it is, so after I filmed the video and took the pictures, I actually went back and highlighted the Saturdays and Sundays with the purple tombow so it at least gave me a reference. For the right side, I have a few habit trackers and a mood tracker along with some lists, books to read, meals to try and content ideas. These are so easy to customize to suite your needs, you could even add monthly goals, things to do, restaurants to try or a gratitude tracker.
I kept the 2 page layout like the previous months, but I went for more of a horizontal spread. Since I like my days to be symmetrical I added an 8th section that I will use for notes. The section in the top right is for whatever list you can use that week, I went for a grocery list. The boxes on the left are also super customizable, meal planning, events, daily priorities are all good ideas, though I opted for a health tracker that even included a water intake tracker. The font I used for the month is really easy to do but looks so elevated. I just used the tombow to write ‘may’ in all caps then once it was dry, I wrote the same word overtop in cursive with a micron.
Savings + Notes
As I mentioned, the school year is almost done. This means that I will be starting my summer job soon, and decided to create a summer savings tracker and a page to jot down notes about my job (like employee number, important dates etc). I’m trying to spend less money and having a visual representation helps. The savings tracker is super simple, each line represents 200$ or each box is 10$. You can change the distribution based on your circumstances. For the notes page, I left it very open since I’m not exactly sure what I will need to write down yet, it might end up being more of a brain dumps. These spreads may be super simple, but I LOVE how the titles turned out, I think it adds a lot without overwhelming the spreads. You can bet this font will be making more appearances in future spreads.
Thank you so much for reading, stay tuned for some new content in the coming weeks 🙂
